Rita Avila shared her opinion online regarding calls for a possible 2028 presidential comeback of Leni Robredo.

In her post, Rita expressed disagreement with the idea of Robredo running again, pointing out that the former Vice President has already shown her service and may now deserve a more peaceful life after her 2022 election loss. She also praised Robredo’s leadership and dedication, saying she has nothing left to prove as a public servant.

“Hindi ko alam ang gusto ni Mayor Leni Robredo pero sana wag na shang tumakbo bilang Presidente sa 2028. Mapayapa na ang buhay niya ngayon,” Avila wrote in her post.
