It's been a hot minute!

Apologies for the radio silence - life and stuff got in the way.

Hey Yarnivores,

It’s that time of year again!

I am having a slightly different pop-up this month (after a few months off) on Saturday the 13th @ 1pm.

Planning on having:
- Christmas nibbles
- Spinning wheels to play with
- Yarn & fibre to squish
- Samples of upcoming knitting patterns etc

It would be awesome to see you there 😊

Morena everyone,

I hope everyone is doing well. I'm not liking these colder, darker, mornings but I guess it means knitting weather is on the way!

Slight change of plans for this weekend's open day - slightly shorter hours on Saturday - 2-4pm. I have poultry club until 1-ish, then its into the shop and hopefully a bunch of yarnies😀

I will endeavour to get an update out some time very soon, including details on an upcoming event I'm trading at😁

What is everyone working on at the moment? I'm trying out a new-to-me sock pattern so have several socks in various stages (and none of them match!).

Not sure how to get to the yarn shop on our open days?

Here are the signs to look out for.

As you head along No2 Line you'll see a sandwich board at the end of the driveway (9km from the bottom of Dury Hill or 4km from Fordell Village - depending on which way you are heading). When you come down the gorgeous, winding driveway you'll come to the roundabout (please use this like a normal roundabout and go around to the left). Once you've parked your car you'll head to the left of the house where you'll see a sign on the path directing you across the lawn. Across the lawn you'll find a sign hanging on the pole of the dovecote (which is currently empty). This sign points behind a hedge to where you'll find the shop.

I'll be around tending gardens etc, will have likely heard you on the gravel. There are likely to be chickens out roaming around that will also alert me to your presence 🐔🐤🐓

I have worked out the dates for the next 2 pop-ups - look at me forward planning for a change!

November 16th 1-4pm & December 14th 1-4pm. Cash or internet banking (I don't have eftpos). Physical address is 711 No2 Line.

Where does time go?

I had planned to post on Tuesday afternoon, life happened and all of a sudden, its Thursday!

The first pop-up of the summer season is THIS Saturday! The shop will be open between 1 and 4.

I know this is short notice, but it would be fantastic to see you out here if you can make it😍

711 No2 Line on the way to Fordell, sandwich board will be at the top of the driveway.

Same time - 1-4pm

We've got some new sock yarn hitting the shelves this week - mainly semi-solids at the moment, hopefully the colourways are dry in time!
