Prepping for the coming weeks - Markets here in Karori , Plimmerton , Wanganui and a couple of different ones in Levin in June and July . Follow us for update times and venues so you can see for yourself the quality on offer and meet the makers . While most of our production is available at our on line store , we do make limited edition products only available at markets .

Easter is coming and we have been making some special treats - Introducing the Bunny family - Mum is not for sale but the smaller ones definitely are and we will have them and siblings for sale at the St Ninians ( Karori Rd ) at the first of their fairs this Saturday from 9.00 until 2.00 along with our range of other chocky treats .

Been a busy week making sufficient stock to have plenty on hand for a couple of markets this weekend - Saturday we will be at Brewtown in Upper Hutt from 9.00 until 2.00 - then its back home , sort and restock for a 10.00 - 3.00 market at Karori Art and Crafts , local and a well supported event . Interested , have a look at our range of tasty treats( except for a few "market only" items ) at our on line store - theconfectionerskitchen.co.nz - All the items on the store are of course for sale with delivery for the fast approaching gifting season .

Finishing up our stock in preparation for a busy weekend - On Saturday we will be at the annual Rathkeale Christmas Fete returning to Welly for an early start at Old St Pauls ( being run as a fundraiser for Heritage NZ to ) Lots of fresh stock of our regular range with a number of new , market only items . Christmas countdown has started - get in early and save the hassle .

A couple of new things on the website for Christmas - the Christmas Spiced Hot chocolate spoons are now available and we have done at range of ChocDots tampered chocolate disks in 6 different flavour options - Dark , plain , with Mint ,Orange , or Christmas spices . plain Milk chocolate and White Chocolate with Raspberry powder as flavouring . Christmas is coming and we are just starting into our limited edition products . Our Hot Chocolate spoons for Christmas are decorated to signify the season with a hand placed representation of a Holly sprig and filled with a blend of spices from an old German recipe plus a little orange oil for a hint of citrus and a couple of mini marshmallows . Its Whanganui's turn for a visit this Saturday , July 19th . We will be at a Mid Winter Market being held in the Racecourse Conference Center from 10.00am through to 4.00pm . We will be there with our full complement of tasty treats , beautiful ( and tasty) Bon bons , our signature Hot Chocolate on a Spoon ( several flavour versions ) freckles for the kids and traditional Hokey Pokey , Butter crunch toffee , Almond or Cashew brittle and other tasty treats . All hand made in our chocolate studio . Hope to see you there

Come and see us tomorrow at the Miramar Community Centre , 27 Chelsea St , between 10.00 an 3.00 for your chocolate fix in advance of World Chocolate Day to be celebrated next week . Lots to choose from especially our Hot Chocolate on a Spoon to warm you up in this terrible run of weather we are having .

Made a new batch of Bonbons for a market in Palmerston North at the Racecourse on Saturday - really pleased with the shine and sure they will be a hit with buyers . Over 100 vendors so it should be interesting .

Tomorrow , Saturday May 31st , we will be at St Ninians on Karori Rd from 9.00AM to 1.00PM participating in their 6 monthly community sale event . Its rare that we are able to have the opportunity for locals to to see and purchase the range of tasty treats we make right here in Karori , all hand made in our own chocolate studio . Come and meet the makers !!

We have been Callebaut users since we started making chocolate and recently the local importers did a road show in Wellington where we live . We were happy to have them visit so they could see where we work and what we actually do and the result was this little video which we can now share with you . Its a lovely place to work and best of all its 20 steps from our back door !! Hope you enjoy the visit too .
