❤️ A little shout-out to my husband tonight.

There is just one person here running this little business, and after my first ever viral moment, things have got a little crazy! Lots of messages, orders, admin and prep happening behind the scenes, alongside actually making everything.

I genuinely couldn’t keep it all moving without the support I get at home. Today, on his day off, Phil drove to Rotorua to pick up supplies I’d run out of and couldn’t wait to have delivered — which meant I could finish work, come home and head straight into the cabin to keep working through your orders.

We’ve always joked that I married him for his last name because Hands made the perfect business name… turns out there were a few other perks too. 😂❤️

✂️ This one is going to be a little bit different…

This Warriors jersey was gifted to its owner by the Warriors at one of their games, which makes it a pretty special one to be trusted with. 💙💚❤️

The original Warriors logo is no longer on the jersey, so my challenge with this one is to turn it into a bag that is still unmistakably Warriors.

Today has been about planning my cuts and deciding where all those recognisable pieces will go. I’ve also carefully removed the NRL Premiership patch so I can reposition it exactly where I want it on the finished bag.

Next up is waterproofing, then once that’s cured I can make the final cuts and get sewing. ✂️🧵

Let’s see what I can do with this one… 👀

🧸 A little change of pace in the cabin this weekend.

While I wait for the next lot of sports jerseys to cure after waterproofing, I’m getting back to some of the orders that were already on my list before the recent jersey craziness!

A few more hours in the cabin today and this Wanganui rugby jersey has officially become a bag.

I’ve tried to save all the important bits of the jersey in its new form!

Now I’m moving onto a couple of custom orders that aren’t jerseys, while the next jersey is curing from waterproofing 💦

💗 This one got a little lost in the madness last week, but it definitely deserves another look!

Jerseys have been arriving every day, and I love seeing the variety that turns up.

But I just had to share today’s arrival! 😍

It’s not just the pink that has me excited. It’s the incredible graphics, patterns and details throughout the jersey. My brain is already planning how to showcase as much of it as possible in the finished bag.

I can’t wait to bring this one to life! 🩷

✂️ Next one underway!

This Whanganui Rugby jersey has now been cut, waterproofed and is ready for its next round of stabilising before I start prepping all the other pieces.

The Warriors bag is nearly finished too, but there’s always more than one thing happening in the cabin! While one is at a stage where I can leave it for a bit, I’m getting the next one moving. 💙🖤
