We’re delighted to welcome Zen Chic to FreeSpirit Fabrics with two inspiring new collections: Amersand and Whisp.
Created by German textile designer, quilter and author Brigitte Heitland, Zen Chic is known for its modern, minimalist style and refined sense of balance. Her work blends bold geometry with quiet elegance, creating fabrics that feel both expressive and timeless.

We’ll be taking a short pause for the King’s Birthday long weekend 👑

Fabco will be closed Monday 1st June, giving our road warrior Lee a well-earned chance to put her feet up after two weeks on the road (fuelled by fabric, fizzy drinks, and the occasional V energy boost!). She’ll be recharged and ready to hit the ground running again as she heads off to visit our fantastic South Island stores next.

Jessica and Peter had been in the warehouse smashing out the latest shipment from "In The Beginning" and heading to stores now.

We hope you all enjoy the long weekend too—whether it’s stitching, relaxing, or popping into your favourite local quilt shop. Supporting local has never been more important, and we all feel the loss when those special places are gone.

Any emails or orders will be picked up when we’re back on Tuesday.
