A very exciting happening this week , 2 of these three finalists are from Marlborough.
Léon grew up in Picton , went to QCC and grew up with Vinnies in Picton as his mumma works there.

Our heartfelt thanks to the St Vinnie's Picton team who generously donated two ELK lifting cushions for our local ambulances 🚑

Jo, our Watch Operations Manager, and ambulance crew enjoyed meeting Maria and the wonderful store team to present a certificate of appreciation and show one of the lifting cushions in action (with help from Marianne, Store Manager).

The ELK lifting cushion provides a comfortable, safe and dignified lift for our patients. It is very easy to use - with the touch of a button, the ELK inflates allowing the person to settle in a raised seated position - ready to stand or be transferred to a stretcher within minutes.

We rely on the generosity of our community to support our Ambulance Service, and we are incredibly grateful for the support of the caring St Vinnie’s team, who do so much to the Picton community 💛

Did you know we gratefully accept fruit and veges that you may have surplus in your gardens.
We pop them on our free food stand and fruit bowls to share around . We appreciate you all💙
