Another weekend of racing for our Waverley competitive team and how good was it to see the scoreboard lit up once again!?

We had a smaller team than usual for the second Southland Swim Series event, but they certainly made up for it with placings and PBs!

Congratulations to all of our swimmers for more great swims and great results! Also a big welcome to Hannah who joined our competitive team for her first meet and thanks once again to all of our club volunteers who helped out on the day.

🖤💛💙**2026 NEPTUNE KING’S BIRTHDAY MEET**

Busy couple of days for our swimmers up in Dunedin this weekend. There was tough competition from Otago and Canterbury, but the team rose to the challenge, producing some amazing results!

Congratulations to our 13&O 4x50m Freestyle Relay “A” Team of Bodie, Xandri, Nieve and Maddox who finished in third place and BIG congratulations to our Skins winners Ted and Maddox, who took home some well earned cash for their efforts 🤩

🖤💛💙 This week we would like to extend our thanks to SBS Bank who, as a Gold Sponsor of Waverley Swimming Club, have provided support to our club over the past year.

The funding they have provided has allowed the club to support our swimmers and managers travelling away to National swimming meets. Their generosity has eased the financial burden on both the club and our competitive families, allowing our swimmers to concentrate solely on their performance against some of the best age group swimmers in New Zealand.
