Marutea Pakohe drop, this is a light grey variety of Pakohe, a type of argillite (or metasomatized argillite) found in New Zealand. It's a dense, fine-grained stone highly valued by Māori for its workability and used in crafting tools, weapons, and adornments. Specifically, Marutea is a lighter, milky variant of the darker Pakohe.
