What do Warriors really look for in their shoes? 🎬

Today we filmed the first episode of In Their Shoes, a new ASICS x Players Sports series, at our Greenlane flagship.

One NZ Warriors Adam Pompey and Leka Halasima joined Warriors NRLW player Ocean Tierney and 2026 ASICS Players Sports Rugby League Scholarship recipient Lucah Lealaisalanoa for a relaxed chat with our host Ben Searle.

Dreams start with moments like these. 🖤

For our 2026 Players Scholarships adidas Rugby recipient, Elliott Chan Chui, this was a day to remember.

Ahead of the All Blacks v Ireland Test at Eden Park, Elliott was invited to the Captain’s Run, where she met some of New Zealand’s best rugby players, including Ardie Savea and Ruben Love, watched the team’s final preparations up close, and experienced the game from a perspective few young athletes ever get to see.

The Players Scholarships programme is about more than providing gear. It’s about creating opportunities, building connections and inspiring the next generation to keep chasing their goals.

A huge thank you to adidas Aotearoa New Zealand for helping make experiences like this possible. We’re excited to keep supporting Elliott’s journey both on and off the field.
