Reindeer hides are best used decoratively only, due to the hair’s hollow construction. Heat and friction can increase shedding. Not suitable to be used as floor rugs or for seating.

To minimise shedding of the hair, avoid direct heat, including sunlight and don’t brush or fold the hide.
