Medicine Biddha is deep blue — the colour of lapis lazuli — because lapis was literally used as medicine in the Himalayas for 2,000 years.

When you look at a statue of the Medicine Buddha (Sangye Menla), his deep, mesmerizing blue body isn’t an arbitrary artistic choice.

In ancient Tibetan medicine, lapis lazuli was revered as one of the most powerful healing substances on Earth. It was literally ground into a fine pigment, ritually blessed, and consumed to restore balance to the body and mind.

Look closer at his hands:
🌿 In his right hand, he holds a sprig of the arura (myrobalan) plant—rightfully crowned the king of Himalayan medicinal herbs for its ability to clear the three mental poisons (ignorance, attachment, and aversion) that root all physical suffering.
🙏 Traditional Amchis (Tibetan doctors) still faithfully recite his healing mantra before ever diagnosing or treating a patient.

"Placing Medicine Buddha in a room where someone is healing is one of the oldest acts of compassionate intention in the Buddhist world. It costs nothing to believe. And it costs very little to try."

Whether you are seeking physical recovery, emotional peace, or simply want to anchor your space in energy that wishes wellness upon all living beings, our hand-cast Medicine Buddha statues carry that exact unbroken lineage of healing intention.

Bring a symbol of ultimate wellness into your home or healing space.

Our statue ships worldwide. Full details including different angle photographs, size, weight and price at the link below.

The Wax Burnout — Pouring Fire
This is the moment the artist lets go. The wax burns away. The empty space becomes the statue.

🔥 The wax melts away, leaving only emptiness — a perfect void ready to receive form. In the fire’s glow, the Buddha is born from absence. The statue exists because of what is no longer there.
✨ The molten wax flows out, revealing the sacred space where metal will soon take shape.
🌿 In this dance of fire and void, creation itself whispers: form arises from emptiness.

White Tara, the Mother of Compassion and Healing.
She has seven eyes. Two you can see. Five you cannot. And every one of them is watching over you.

Her seven eyes symbolize her boundless awareness and compassion — the two natural eyes, the eye on her forehead, and the eyes on each palm and sole. She sees suffering in all directions at once, offering protection, healing, and peace to all beings.

Seated gracefully in meditation posture, her open right hand rests in varada mudra, the gesture of blessing and generosity, while lotus stems rise beside her as symbols of purity and awakened wisdom.

In Tibetan Buddhism, White Tara is especially invoked for long life, healing, calmness, and peace of mind. Her mantra is known for its gentle and soothing energy.

For anyone who has someone they love who is unwell, this statue is traditionally offered with the intention of healing, compassion, and heartfelt prayers for recovery.

The Dorje (Vajra)
This small object holds more symbolic meaning than almost any other item in Tibetan Buddhism — and most people don't know any of it.

The Vajra symbolizes both the diamond and the thunderbolt, representing indestructible wisdom and unstoppable enlightened power. Its two lotus ends represent the relative and absolute worlds, while the central sphere symbolizes Shunyata, the ultimate emptiness beyond duality.

In Vajrayana ritual, the Vajra is always held in the right hand and paired with the Bell in the left. The Vajra represents method and compassion, while the Bell represents wisdom. Together, they symbolize the inseparable union of wisdom and skillful means on the path to enlightenment.

Do you have a dorje or bell in your practice space? Tell me how you use it 👇

Padmasambhava did not just teach Buddhism in Tibet. He fought for its survival.

In the 8th century, King Trisong Detsen invited the Indian master Padmasambhava to Tibet when every attempt to establish Buddhism was failing. The land was believed to be filled with forces, fears, resistance, and unseen obstacles standing against the teachings. Padmasambhava did not run from them. He confronted them, subdued them, and transformed them into protectors of the Dharma. That is why he is remembered not only as a teacher, but as a guardian.

Every object in his hands carries meaning.
⚡ The vajra represents indestructible truth and unshakable wisdom.
☠️ The kapala skull cup symbolizes mastery over ego, attachment, and illusion.
🔱 The khatvanga trident represents victory over the three poisons: ignorance, desire, and hatred.

Traditionally, a Padmasambhava statue faces the entrance of a home. He stands at the threshold, guarding the space, clearing negativity, and protecting the path within.

Owning his statue is not decor. It is a statement of intention. A reminder that obstacles are not meant to stop you, but to be overcome.

The clay mold building process is one of the most critical stages in traditional lost-wax statue making. It is the moment when the delicate wax sculpture disappears beneath layers of clay and organic materials, preparing it for the intense heat and pressure of molten metal casting. Without a properly constructed mold, even the most beautifully sculpted wax model can fail during casting.

For centuries, artisans in Nepal, Tibet, India, and other parts of Asia have perfected this technique by hand. Every layer has a purpose. Every material is selected carefully. The process combines sculpture, engineering, chemistry, and traditional knowledge passed down through generations.

Green Tara is the only major bodhisattva always shown with one leg extended — and the reason will change how you see her.

She is known as the goddess of swift compassion and protection. One of the most powerful symbols in her form is her extended right leg. Unlike many deities seated fully in meditation, Green Tara’s right leg is stretched forward, showing that she is always ready to rise and help beings in need. She represents active compassion, not passive compassion.

Green Tara is also called “The Swift One” because she responds quickly to prayers, fears, obstacles, and suffering. Tibetan Buddhists believe her energy removes both inner fears and outer dangers with speed and wisdom.

Her sacred mantra is:
🕉️ Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha

This mantra is chanted for protection, healing, courage, and the removal of obstacles. Tibetan monks and practitioners often recite it during times of danger, uncertainty, travel, illness, or emotional suffering.

In Buddhist tradition, there are 21 Taras, each representing a different aspect of enlightened compassion and protection. Some Taras protect from fear, some bring healing, some grant long life, while others remove obstacles and negative energies. Among them, Green Tara is considered the main form and the mother of liberation.

Her presence reminds us that compassion should move, act, protect, and respond without delay. 🙏
