We managed to score ourselves a little 16th scale UDIURC UD1611 basher. It's super fun, not too expensive, and it jumps and lands beautifully. We even crammed a 3S battery in there, and it really livened it up. :D

This is something new to us, coming from crawlers and 4WD "drift" cars.

The LDRC scale looking 1/16, metal body Porsche drift car. It's rear wheel drive, and way harder to control than any of our 4WD rigs. Super fun though, and in the end we managed to get a few nice drifts out of it. The built in gyro probably helped out right there. :D

We managed to get one of these brand new UDIRC UCX1801 super early. Didn't do anything fancy, we just got it from Aliexpress as soon as they were available.

Early enough that we managed to be the world's first with a video on it over on Youtube. That's always fun. :D

Super scale (not 1:18 though, more like 1:22), has all the lights (cool), a brushless motor, two speed transmission, and a it has something we've never seen in a small scale before. It has dig! That's just nuts in this scale.

And it's cheap. Like proper cheap, considering all the features it has.

We recenty decided to test some tires to find something for our class 2 comp rig. And some we tested just for fun. Six tires in total this time around, but more to come in the future.

We usually like to build and tinker with our own rigs, but this one is special. We won this during a Crawler Canyon Livestream on Youtube not too long ago, and just before christmas it arrived here in cold, wintery Norway, all the way from sunny California.

The rig, called Missing Link, came as a roller, so no electronics. We have now installed a Hobbywing Fusion SE 1800KV motor, a cheap, brushless 9imod 40kg servo, and paired it all with the Crawler Canyon favorite, a Radiolink RC4GS. Now all we need is some decent weather so we can take Missing Link for a drive outside.

Missing Link is an Element rig, with IFS2 up front, and trailing arms in the rear. He's sporting some awesome wheels with Proline tires - and a mean looking body. :D

Pretty sure this qualifies as a bad idea. Pay attention when soldering the battery connector to your ESC, unless you want this to happen to you too. 😆
