People often ask me which of my heart paintings is my favorite.
I make them colorful, intuitive, and I usually add words or phrases that come to me in the process.
But my favorite is the one I don’t usually show.
It reminds me that when something breaks, you don’t lose the gold inside you.
It was always there.
Maybe dormant… asleep, hidden or just waiting.
The crack is not the end of the story.
It’s the place where strength becomes visible.
Where repair doesn’t mean hiding the fracture,
but letting light run through it.
Some hearts are not made to be displayed.
They’re made to keep you going.
