Whenever you think you're better than anyone, go back to this scripture if you have forgotten. If you didn't know, know it from this day.
We're even asked to esteem others more than ourselves.
Meanwhile, I didn't see where anyone in hierarchical ranks is mentioned to be exempted.

Phil.2.1 - If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,
