COMMON SEWING MACHINE PROBLEMS AND HOW TO SOLVE.
As Dress makers one of the most challenging outfits we encounter are stretchy fabrics;Seams On Stretchy Fabrics Comes Out Loose Or Does Not Sew Well: When you encounter a problem like this one, adjust the pressure of your presser foot or better yet, switch to a walking foot, which will feed the bottom layer of your fabric under the needle at the same rate. Although this problem can also be as a result of your sewing techniques. So before you try out the above remedy, adjust the way you sew. Make sure the whole of your project is supported while sewing so it doesn't drape off the sewing table. Secondly, let the feed dog do all the work. Avoid pulling on a Stretchy fabric while you sew. Pin well before you start.
