It’s totally normal to have such experience, it happens to most people even me 😂

The top notes of a fragrance comes first, so many of us out of impatience wouldn’t want to wait for it to settle to get the main smell of the fragrance from the middle and base notes. In your head you’ve already concluded the fragrance is bad 🤣

Fragrance can bloom, especially once the top notes dissipates. Mix that with your personal body chemistry , it can smell quite different from person to person.

Even though the top notes is supposed to make it smell fresh. Just meant to give a first impression, but this is not the scent you want to base your opinion on. It’s always going to be the heart and the base you pay attention to personally. 😁
