A lot of people still don't realize how big Amazon KDP is and what its projections are for 2026.
Amazon is projecting massive growth in book sales going into 2026, and whether you like it or not, it's already the world's largest bookstore.
That means one thing:
If you're serious about publishing, Amazon is not optional.
If you already have books published, you're in a great position.
If you haven't published yet, this is honestly one of the best times to start — but only if you do it the right way.
Here's where most people get it wrong.
They rush to publish.
They focus on speed instead of strategy.
They upload books without proper research and hope Amazon "figures it out" for them.
That rarely works.
Books that sell consistently are not lucky.
They are planned, researched, and built for a specific audience.
Before you even think about writing, two things must be clear:
• Who exactly is this book for?
• What already exists on Amazon — and what is missing or poorly done?
This is why research comes first. Always.
Personally, I spend serious time researching a topic before writing a single word. By the time I start creating, I already know:
What readers want
How the book should be structured
and how it should stand out,
That's not intelligence — that's preparation.
When you combine high-quality content with a proper launch strategy, books don't just sell once… they grow over time.
And here's something many people don't think about:
Even one well-made book can outperform dozens of rushed ones.
This is a business, not a lottery ticket.
That's also why, in my training and mentorship, I teach research first, then ex*****on. No shortcuts. No guessing. Just clear steps, quality decisions, and long-term thinking.
No matter where you are right now — just starting, halfway through, or already publishing — you can still fix your process and build something solid.
Amazon KDP rewards authors who take this seriously.
And if you're ready to do that, you're already ahead of most people.
