I'm sure you must have wondered what the word 'Prepaid' implies on that image, it's simple, depositing money in a system and collecting items as often as you want until the deposit is used up.

So could this works with vendors and retailers in the food market?

Under what market conditions would it work

At what terms would it be accepted

For what benefits would it be considered

These have been the questions on our mind many months ago while developing our business model and our website

Three months ago, we've stepped out into the market to try it out, exploring different approaches to bring it to live. Finally we discovered the customer pain points that necessitates a prepaid model, and we have developed a formidable go-to-market strategy for our model

Good news is; we are deploying our platform again to bring our solution to a broader market beyound our first test location and farm items, so we can serve different demographies and distant locations outside the state efficiently.

This is the first product we are deploying on the prepaid model, while we continue with development processes for orther products that will be powered by our much loved prepaid model.

Much love to our supporters and existing subscribers, friends who believe in us to our readers who will join the train soon. Together we can do more

The basic concept of Gifafo is transparency and equal distribution.

The food value chain is highly unregulated, porous and unsecured in Nigeria. Everyone wants a larger share of the cake with little concern about the overall impact. On the supply chain, breaking down the different tasks on the track, assigning them to the right persons to handle efficiently and leaving the accompanying profit with them, frees up the supply chain and gets farm produce to the final consumer promptly and at the right price.
Getting these parties to carry out their tasks in a synchronous process might take time, but when achieved, would be a strong system that stands the test of time, guaranteeing continuity and ensuring stability.

The power of team work comes to play here, and that's the beginning of progress in our efforts to combat food inflation.
