As she approached the old oak tree, Kael emerged from the shadows, his eyes gleaming with hunger. They embraced, their lips meeting in a passionate kiss under the moonlight. The world around them melted away, leaving only the thrum of their hearts and the soft rustle of leaves.

But their moment was short-lived, as a rustling in the bushes signaled the approach of Sophia, her eyes fixed on the lovers with a mix of curiosity and concern. Valeria's heart skipped a beat as Sophia stepped forward, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Valeria, I know what you're doing. I know about Kael."

Rory tried to shake off the feeling of being watched, focusing on unpacking her bags and settle into her Dorm Room her memory of Ethan's piercing gaze still lingered, making her skin prickle.

At the floor meeting that night Rory spotted him again this time up close and personal. Ethan Blackwood was even more captivating his eyes glimmered with a hint of mischief.

A Tessa introduced the floor's residents, Rory's heart sank . Ethan was her neighbor, just across the hall

When the meeting are adjourned, Rory made a bee line for the door , but Ethan caught up to her ," hey Aurora wynter " he said his voice low and smooth, "welcome to Ravenwood".

Rory's heart skipped a beat . " Thanks " she muttered trying to brush past him.

But Ethan blocked her path, his eyes was sparkling with amusement, "so , what brings you to our humble campus ?"

Rory hesitated , unsure how much to reveal" just looking for a fresh start, I guess "

Ethan gaze narrowed, as if he saw right through her, I know the feeling he's voice dripping with empathy.

Rory stepped onto the Ravenwood university campus , heart racing with a mix of excitement and nerves. The sprawling green quad stretched out before her , dotted with students laughing and chatting. She felt a pang of longing, wondering if she'd ever be able to truly belong here .

Rory took a deep breath shouldering her backpack. She walked hard to escape her past, to earn a fresh start, and Ravenwood was it - her chance to redefine her self , to leave the scars behind .

As she made her way through the crowds ,Rory's gaze drifted across the gigantic buildings, the ivy -covered facades seeming to whisper secrets she shivered despite the warmth of the late summer air.

"Hey you must be Rory!"

Rory turned to face a bright smiling girl with her hair in a wild tangle of curls. "That's me" trying to sound casual .

I'm Tessa, your RA , welcome to Ravenwood I'll show you to your dorm

As the walked Tessa being the life of the party chatted non-stop about campus Life, clubs and classes.Rory listening intently trying to absorb it all.

But her attention kept drifting to the guy across the quad - tall,dark haired and impossibly handsome. Their Eyes met, and for a moment, Rory felt like she was punched in the guts .

"Who's that ?" She asked Tessa, trying to sound nonchalant

Tessa followed her gaze. "Oh, that's Ethan Blackwood. He's ....complicated. But gorgeous ,right?

Rory felt a flush rise to her cheeks .
" yeah", she muttered, looking away.

Little did she know her life was about to become a whole lot more complicated....
