Losing weight as a postpartum mum with an active toddler is HARD.

People say, “Give birth to all your kids first before losing weight,” and I laugh because tell me why I should remain this fat while still giving birth?

Before childbirth, losing weight was easy for me. I could water fast for days, avoid the kitchen, order food, and focus fully on myself.

But now things are different.

There’s a growing family, a child trying different foods every week, and real responsibilities. Sometimes I have to be considerate because I personally know the kind of lifestyle it costs to run a home now. We’re no longer talking about a one-million-naira monthly lifestyle. We’re talking about 3–5 million naira monthly family expenses.

So instead of disappearing into fasting, I cook, stock the house, make my husband’s favourite meals, and still try to lose weight while raising a child.

And there’s no way I’ll feed my child what I haven’t tasted first.

Pregnancy took me from 84kg to 127kg.
After childbirth, I dropped to 118kg, then 103kg, then 99kg.

Right now I’m 110kg and it’s honestly not funny.

Behind the scenes, I’m still trying. Hopefully in the next 6 months, I’ll see 75kg on that scale again.

To every mother trying to lose weight without losing herself in motherhood… I see you. It is not easy at all.

I owe you all an apology.

It’s been about 5 days now without a new upload or even completing Love by Chance, and I know some of you might be wondering what’s going on… or even feeling like I’ve gone quiet or become nonchalant.

But please, that’s not the case at all.

Creating these AI movies you enjoy so much is something I take very seriously — and it actually comes with a lot behind the scenes.

Every month, I invest heavily on AI App subscriptions just to keep this dream alive.

And truthfully, sometimes these apps can be very frustrating. Things don’t always go as planned, and it slows down the process more than you can imagine.

Beyond this, I’m also a business owner running two businesses, a wife, and a mother taking care of a toddler. I’m doing my best to balance life and still show up here for you all.

I wish I could speed things up, honestly… but I’m human too.

That said — I’m deeply sorry for the delay.
