To use a teeth whitening kit;
first, ensure your teeth are clean by brushing and flossing. Then, if using pre-filled trays, insert them onto your teeth and bite down gently, avoiding excessive pressure. If using a kit with syringes, apply a thin layer of gel to the trays and insert them. Follow the kit's instructions for the recommended wear time, typically 15-30 minutes or as directed, and then remove and rinse your mouth. 

Detailed Steps:

1. Preparation:

Begin by brushing your teeth to remove any food particles or plaque. Flossing is also recommended to remove any debris between your teeth. 

2. Tray Insertion (if applicable): 

For kits with pre-filled trays, remove the trays from the packaging. 

Align the top tray with the top teeth and gently push it onto your teeth. 

Repeat for the bottom tray. 

Close your mouth and bite down gently, but avoid excessive pressure that could squeeze out the gel. 

For custom trays (if provided), you may need to boil water and mold the trays to your teeth by dipping them in hot water and biting down. 

3. Gel Application (if using syringes): 

Apply a thin, even layer of the whitening gel to the inside of the trays, focusing on the front surfaces of your teeth. 

Be careful not to overfill the trays, as excess gel can irritate your gums. 

4. Wear Time:

Insert the trays into your mouth, following the manufacturer's instructions for the recommended wear time. 

This can vary from 15-30 minutes to several hours, depending on the kit and gel strength. 

5. Post-Whitening:

After the designated time, remove the trays. 

Rinse your mouth thoroughly with water to remove any remaining gel. 

Brush your teeth gently to remove any residual gel and help eliminate any lifted stains or discolorations. 

You can also floss and continue with your normal oral hygiene routine. 

6. Tray Cleaning:

Rinse the whitening trays under cold running water. 

Use a soft toothbrush to gently clean any gel residue from the inside of the trays.
