Why are we switching from perlite to sphagnum moss?
Well i guess this is basically up to preference, but with Sphagnum there is much less risk of root rot, like you get with soil or water, more air to the roots than you would get with water or soil. Sphagnum is a great propagation medium also with the fact that
some plants don't do well transitioning from water directly to soil, so the sphagnum moss mix can help ease that Transition (one of the problems i was having with perlite when I needed to transition my plants to the soil🫠🫠)
So for now on, sphagnum moss all the way🤪🤪
