It’s been almost a month of perfect glamping weather.
Malaysia’s hot, yeah — but no rain means chill, dry nights and stress-free setups.
July and August? Solid picks.
And if the heat hits too hard, just head for higher ground. Elevation equals instant cool-down

So yeah, we didn’t want to miss this moment — we called up friends and invite them to do glamping, Bulan dan Rimba style.
We picked a pretty remote spot — starting from Raub, passing through Koyan, heading toward Cameron Highlands.
But we made a midway stop at Post Betau, then drove another hour on a narrow 2-meter-wide road to get to the campsite.
It’s super affordable — just RM20 per car.

The place has all the wild essentials and it’s run by Pak Hashim, a local Orang Asli.
It’s peaceful, raw, and honestly almost perfect for us.

This season is notably wetter compared to last year, particularly in Kongkoi area. We hope other regions enjoy better weather for their outdoor activities. Safety and comfort are our concerns for customers currently glamping; last week was so good, we knew immediately by cleaning charges. If the weather is good, almost no charge.
But otherwise if it's rainy, difficulties in cleaning muddy tents and equipment always force us to put charges.
Please select a good weather period for your trip if you want comforts over anything, but if you are up for challenges, you can still find beauty in every situations.
Thanks to all, we're grateful for the overwhelming response—everything is sold out this week. We've rationed items and balanced packages for fairness without sacrificing comfort and quality, even unboxing retail items for our own trip.
Currently enjoying a glamping chalet in Kongkoi as tents are unavailable.
