Do you know the culture of tossing Yu Sheng or Lo- Hei during Chinese new year?
The plate is made up of 7 auspicious colorful ingredients, each signifies some best and traditional wishes. Placed on the center of a round table, the guests will gather around the Lo-Hei, and mix the ingredients by tossing the ingredients together using your chopstick while shouting all the best wishes. It is believed that the louder your shouts are and the higher you toss, the greater your fortunes will be.
