INJERA FLAT BREAD BASKET

Originated from Ethiopia 🇪🇹, these baskets were used to carry their national dish, Injera Bread, a sourdough-risen flat bread with a slightly spongy texture.

The outer part of the basket is covered with leather while the inner layer are woven beautifully in fibers, the lid is secured with a leather straps that is woven through long leather loops attached to the side of the basket and also a strap that goes over the shoulder.

Good condition with visible signs of wear and tear. DM us for more information.

TRADITIONAL PENAN WEAVED MAT

Approximate Size: 200cm x 109cm

Traditionally used as sleeping mat and also for sitting. Gorgeously weaved from rattan strands with broad borders rows of their traditional motifs and the central panel is weaved in motif known as Herringbone pattern. The colours are of natural dyes. Aged approximately 30 years old or more.
