A legendary rod - ugly stick. Has lived through many battles. But unfortunately guides are not unbreakable. All guides were gone almost. Has gone through a complete overhaul and ready for many more years of service. "After" in next video.

One of the most difficult repairs I've made. This rod was broken and repaired before it came to me. The owner already glued it and made it one piece. Unfortunately it broke again and the spigot was still solidly glued inside. I had to buy a dremel tool to drill out both ends to remove the broken pieces. Then prepare a new spigot made of full carbon. Glue it again,wrap and epoxy. No repair can be guaranteed but I can only hope it holds this time and owner can enjoy his rod for some more casts.
