According to the owner of this carpet, its age exceeds 30 years, and she wove it in her youth. Based on our expertise in this field and given the carpet's condition, her statement aligns with its state, which shows signs of an antique carpet. As is well known, the manufacturing methods at that time were more primitive than today.

Additionally, the Asenfo project provides an introductory document for each carpet that narrates its cultural details as well as the manufacturing details. Two documents are provided with each carpet: one in Arabic and one translated into English.

It can be classified as an original Berber carpet. Although it was recently woven, its traditional design is as old as Moroccan carpets. In the Amazigh language, this design is called (Shzoui, Znafi), meaning a blend of white and black. Over time, this design has evolved into this pattern and others while maintaining the same traditional manufacturing methods.
