✈️ Building More Than Model Aircraft — Building Future Engineers

We are proud to have partnered with the Mechanical Engineering Department of SLIIT for AeroForge '26, an inspiring workshop that brought together passionate students, future engineers, and aviation enthusiasts.

At Rylee's Aero Models, our vision goes far beyond building model airplanes. We believe every aircraft built by hand teaches creativity, problem-solving, aerodynamics, teamwork, and the confidence to turn ideas into reality.

Seeing students design, build, and fly RC aircraft was a powerful reminder that Sri Lanka has incredible young talent ready to shape the future of aviation and engineering.

We sincerely thank the Faculty of Engineering, Dean Prof. Ayantha Gomes, Head of Department Prof. Migara Liyanage, the organizing committee, and every student who participated with enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the program.

Future Pilots, Engineers & Innovators Take Flight ✈️

At Rylee's Aero Models, our vision goes far beyond building model aircraft. We are committed to inspiring and developing the next generation of aviation innovators, engineers, pilots, and creators through practical learning experiences that combine imagination with real aerospace knowledge.

Together with Nethila Nimsath Marspreneurs, who is well known for empowering young minds with entrepreneurial thinking and life skills, we created an environment where children could experience the excitement of flight, engineering, teamwork, and creativity firsthand.
Seeing the students’ enthusiasm soar as they explored the fascinating world of aeromodelling was truly unforgettable. From building and learning to dreaming bigger about aviation and aerospace, every moment reminded us why our mission matters.

We were also deeply encouraged by the support and encouragement shown by parents, who recognized the importance of guiding young minds toward productive hobbies, STEM education, innovation, and the future aviation industry of Sri Lanka

At Rylee's Aero Models, we believe even a small model aircraft can inspire a child to one day design, build, or fly real aircraft that reach the world skies. This is only the beginning of our journey to build a stronger aviation culture and empower future generations through aeromodelling education.

✈️ From Colombo to Every Corner of Sri Lanka — A Dream Takes Flight 🇱🇰

At Rylee's Aero Models, we believe aviation is not just a hobby… it’s a pathway to innovation, confidence, and global success.

We are proud to take ownership of spreading aviation knowledge and enthusiasm beyond Colombo reaching schools, districts, and young dreamers across the island.

Recently, we successfully conducted an inspiring aviation workshop and launched our very first Aviation Club at Galahitiyawa Central College 🎉

This was not just another event.
For those students, it became a once-in-a-lifetime moment because we didn’t come just to show model airplanes…

👉 We came to ignite minds
👉 We came to build future pilots, engineers, innovators, and history makers
👉 We came to teach them to dream beyond limits

Just like the Wright Brothers' First Flight changed the world forever, we want these young Sri Lankan talents to believe:

Today, Rylee’s Aero Models is proudly flying across the world 🌍

✈️ From Strangers to a Team — Building More Than an Aircraft

During this school holiday, Rylee's Aero Models proudly delivered an immersive RC model airplane building workshop in collaboration with passionate young entrepreneur Nethila Nimsath and his inspiring platform Marspreneurs Education Center.
What made this experience truly special?
Five hours.
Total strangers.
One mission: Build and complete an RC aircraft.
Students arrived from different cities one even traveled all the way from Badulla with no prior connections. But in the end, they weren’t strangers anymore… they were a team.

🔧 Learning by Doing — Not Just Watching
This wasn’t just a workshop.
It was a real-world simulation, where students actively applied:
Physics in motion
Practical mathematics
Engineering fundamentals
Real-time problem-solving
Communication under pressure
Team coordination
Confidence building
They didn’t just learn aviation
they experienced it with their own hands.

🇱🇰 Sinhala and Tamil New Year (also called Aluth Avurudu in Sinhala and Puthandu in Tamil) is one of the most important cultural festivals in Sri Lanka.

🌞 It is celebrated in April and marks the traditional solar New Year based on the movement of the sun.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 This is a time for:

✨ Cultural games and rituals
