The Soviet 5P71 is a semi-mobile, twin-rail launcher equipped with the S-125 Neva/Pechora surface-to-air missile system. NATO code name SA-3 Goa, the S-125 air defense missile was built to complement the S-25 and S-75. The SA-3 Goa was known for its shorter and lower engaged altitude targets than either of its predecessors. The S-125 missile system also flew slower due to its two-stage design against more maneuverable targets with effective results. Engaging the lower, more maneuverable flying targets, the SA-3 was designed as a more modern version, resistant to Electronic Countermeasures (ECM) warfare.

The S-125 saw combat across various battlefields capable of reaching Mach 3 to 3.5 in flight with their solid fuel rocket motors, with radio command guidance. The ZIL-131V is a tractor unit based on the general purpose 3.5 tonne 6x6 Soviet made army truck. First introduced in 1966, the ZIL-131 was produced by an automobile manufacturer known short for ZIL. The ZIL produced cargo trucks and other variants shared many components with its earlier ZIL-130 predecessor as well as the same equipment as the GAZ-66 and Ural-375D.

Both deployed with either a gasoline or a diesel engine, the ZIL-131 trucks were produced until 2012 when the factory filed for bankruptcy and shut down.

ZIL-131V was manufactured to help in towing and reloading either air to air or air to ground missiles on a special trailer, seen during the late Iraqi regime towing SCUD missiles. Widely deployed across various battlefields and regions, the ZIL-131 still saw extensive combat during the modern Russo-Ukrainian war.

The KrAZ-6322 Soldier is a Ukrainian made, heavy duty off-road six-wheel drive military truck. Based on earlier models, the Kremenchuk, Ukraine KrAZ factory extended its series of military cargo trucks with their KrAZ-6322, similar to the overall appearance of the ex Soviet Union made KrAZ-260.

The KrAZ-6322 Soldier, Soldat, was primarily designed and manufactured to transport troops, cargo, as well as tow heavy artillery systems with its turbo-charged diesel engine, with a maximum speed of 80km/h. The Soldat's heavy duty chassis offered a common platform to fulfill speciality needs such as 75,000 kg aircraft transportation vehicles on airfields, cranes, mobile radars, deploying pontoon bridges, as well as GRAD missile launchers with a payload permissible payload weight up to 12,000 kg.

The KrAZ-260 is a heavy tactical truck developed in the 1970s during the Soviet era, present-day Ukraine. Showing its first debut during a Red Square parade, towing 152-mm2A36 nuclear-capable field guns, the KrAZ-260 was produced as the replacement for its earlier KrAZ-255B sibling for military service only.

The KrAZ-260 featured a turbocharged diesel engine with a new design, capable of carrying heavy loads up to 9 tons. Its turbocharged engine allowed the KrAZ to fully tow heavy loads up to 30 tons, either for air defense systems or tank transport semi-trailers. Various specialized variants were also deployed on the KrAZ-260's structure such as field cranes, fuel trucks, ferry systems, and bridge laying vehicles.

Combining both their technological core and knowledge with vehicle systems and military/land divisions, the mergers known as Rheinmetall MAN Military Vehicles GmbH (RMMV) was the sole provider for a wide range of armoured and unarmoured transport vehicles, along with special specific wheeled vehicles.

The LKW 10t MIL GL, standing for heavy, cross country, military goods German short for Lastkraftwagen, militarisiert geländegängig, was a Category 1 (Kat1) high-mobility tactical truck used by the Bundeswehr. The 8x8 10t LKW was equipped with an extended cargo bed along with the Atlas-Weyhausen 1-ton loading crane. The Cougar H is a mine-resistant ambush-protected (MRAP) infantry mobility vehicle. Designed with special features and materials, the 4x4 Cougar can protect both the crew and engine compartment against a wide range of attacks. Seeing service in Afghanistan, Iraqi War, and many other modern conflicts the Cougar was based on a monocoque type, V-shaped hull extending its lower length. The hull serves to direct the blast away from under the vehicle, negating the disadvantage of internal injuries or even roll outs like the older deployed vehicles.

Additional protection was due to the double layered bullet proof glass. The glass provided ample visibility and protection against fi****ms with gun ports capable of safely directing defense fire towards the spotted battlefield threat.

Manned by a crew of 3, the 4x4 Cougar is capable of safely transporting 4 fully armed soldiers with its self defense capabilities with a roof mounted turret with either a 7.62 mm or a 12.7 mm heavy general purpose machine gun (GPMG).

The Canadian Leopard C1A1 is an upgraded main battle tank based on the original German, West made, Leopard 1A3 designed by Porsche entering service with the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundeswehr) in 1965. Developed in a typically used Highly Explosive Anti Tank warheads (HEAT), the Leopard design focused on effective firepower and mobility negating the use of thick armour for protection.

Featuring moderate armour, against low caliber autocannons and heavy machine guns, the high power-to-weight ratio Leopard 1 MBT gave superior mobility and cross-country performance with a modern suspension and drive train systems. Export sales of the Leopard 1 became the standard MBT for many European and worldwide militaries, like Canada.

The Canadian C1A1, based on the original Leopard 1A3 MBT, was deployed in Afghanistan in late 2006 to provide fire support against insurgents in Kandahar. The C1A1 was refitted with thermal night-vision equipment, with an extremely thick MEXAS (Modular Expandable Armour System) appliqué armour kit earlier during the Kosovo Force (KFOR) NATO-led international peacekeeping force.

The M1078 Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV), is a unit of the series of military vehicles based upon a common chassis. Varying by payload and mission requirements, the FMTV was originally designed by and upon the Austrian Steyr 12M18 truck. Heavily modified to meet the United States Army requirements, the FMTV included a minimum or 50% of components to be met.

With various payloads carrying both 2.5 and 5 ton payloads, the FMTVs were first fielded back in January 1996. More than 17 variants were expanded during manufacturing to meet enhanced and protection designs.

Since 2011, the FMTV has been manufactured by Oshkosh Corporation, export units were handed to many countries in the Middle East, like Lebanon and gulf countries, as well as dozens of FMTVs to Ukraine during the ongoing Russo-Ukrainian war.

The T-62 is a Soviet main battle tank (MBT) originally intended as a companion weapon to the T-55 medium battle tank. The later T series tank was designed to add long range firing capabilities to Soviet tank regiments being placed alongside T-55 tanks, only to serve much as T-55 in combat.

Most noticeable exterior differences between the two vehicles was the T-62’s lengthened hull and new turret design, while sharing common parts with the T-55 predecessor tank. The new up gunned main barrel can pe*****te approximately 300mm of armor at a range of 1000 meters. This firepower was adequate to deal with the then perceived threat from NATO tanks as the American M-48 and later models of the British Centurion.

Despite being introduced in 1960, combined with the improved performance of its much advanced T-72 successor, the Russian T-62 main battle tank still sees service today in many of the world’s armies, with the Middle East armies being the largest operators outside the Warsaw Pact countries.

Egypt, Iraq, and Syria have been the most notable users of the Russian T-62 main battle tank, with Israel also capturing a number of T-62s during conflicts, to be later built into the Tiran IDF tanks.
