Climate change is one of the biggest challenges facing the world today, and its impacts are already hitting the developing world hardest. Putting children at the forefront of tree planting and climate change efforts promotes environmentally conscious children who will be responsible and proactive in the creating a sustainable environment in Kenya.

This past weekend Kenya joined the rest of the world in marking the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, a day in which we promote public awareness about desertification.

Thank you to CITAM Woodley Primary School for participating in the pilot program of " program. The program is designed to celebrate the Kenyan Forests and environment and increasing social learning in environmental affairs, through teaching children the importance of well-managed forestlands, water and natural resources through a hands-on- environmental experience. Ngong Road Forest has been our forest of choice, covering 1.224hc and divided into 5 sections.
