CELEBRATING 10 YEARS OF PENHALIGON’S PORTRAITS
A Decade of Deception, Desire, and Distinguished Scents.
Previously at The Portraits Mansion...
After Lord George’s scandalous affair with his mistress Clara, his wife, Lady Blanche, got her own back with Finley the gardener. Their unhappily married daughter, Duchess Rose, was looking for a distraction from her disinterested husband, the Duke. The Duke was also looking for a distraction – and found Teddy. So, Rose sets her sights on Sam, an American player (of cards). Constance, Rose’s well-read sister, watches on in bemusement. Who else comes to town? Yasmine, looking for a husband; Arthur, Lord George’s younger brother, back from his travels; Mr Harrod, to wine and dine Lady Blanche (don’t tell George); and William Penhaligon himself, invited on Blanche’s request. Who should be watching all but Mr Thompson, the butler, as the mischief, the secrets, and scandal unfolds.
