We look forward to welcoming you to (META)FISICA, an exhibition of new rugs, curated by Dan Thawley and designed by Pablo Molezún, contextualising a landmark collection designed in collaboration with Fornasetti. Reinterpreting a selection of archival motifs by Piero and Barnaba Fornasetti, the series features Surrealist and Dreamlike imagery from the built and natural worlds, emboldened by the artisanal textures of cc-tapis workmanship from around the world.

Sound composition by Carlos Casas.

In collaboration with NM3, Cassetta, Arabeschi di Latte and Giorgio Di Salvo.

Dublin’s got style ❤️
A chance meeting of minds discussing all things design between Alsu Corcoran and Ruth Maria Photography led to cc-tapis & Bodema, the Italian furniture brand, being selected for its debut at JAQI, Dublin’s newest design emporium.
The brainchild of interior designer Jacqueline Walsh.

Proudly unveiled last night, the display features the aptly named Clover Chair — which Alsu had long manifested to bring to Dublin — the elegant Tokyo Sofa, and two exquisite handmade rugs by cc-Tapis.

An inspiring new space and an absolute must-visit for all design lovers.

cc-tapis in London!

You know those moments when design, craft and culture align perfectly? This is one of them.

The incredible cc-tapis has created a series of bespoke rugs, runners and carpets for the Embassy of Italy in London, designed by the ever-brilliant Nick Vinson and we are honestly obsessed.

Each piece draws inspiration from Italian architectural treasures Villa Borsani, the Baths of Caracalla, Palazzo della Pilotta, and Carlo Scarpa’s Olivetti showroom all reimagined through cc-tapis’ signature artistry.
Hand-tufted, layered with history, and unapologetically beautiful.

We had absolutely nothing to do with this project, just a very proud fangirls moment for at its finest.

SWIRL IS A FLOWER BLOSSOMING ON A RUG REVEALED THROUGH CROCHET WORK, DYED IN DELICATE SHADES THAT SUBTLY PROGRESS IN A GRADIENT, DRAWING VOLUPTUOUS SHAPES OF COLOURED PETALS.
Approaching the project as architects, rather than craftsmen or visual artists, Univers Uchronia considered a rug not just as a pictorial plane from which to project an image but worked on how it is constructed emphasizing the inherent values of its materials, interpreted in a 3D manner.
