This is my oldest son, Pétur Þór, with my sister Gróa Sif, teaching him how to sew the Skrimslis.
Pétur Þór is currently living in Berlin with his fiancée, where he has been studying to become a tattoo artist. He’ll soon be moving back home to Iceland.
He has always been extremely talented at drawing, and I’m so excited to see his future unfold in the tattoo world. While he’s building his tattoo client base, he’s also been working with the Skrimslis whenever he’s in Iceland.
In fact, he’s been part of the Skrimslis journey since he was just 12 years old, starting out by cutting and turning hands and feet 😁 (he’s now 25!). He’s always ready to take on new challenges in the business, and his latest one is sewing the Skrimslis together 👏
So as you can see, the Skrimslis are truly original and made in Iceland throughout the entire process 🇮🇸
