developed from a venture between two well known factories: the Furniture Factory and the Timber Factory of Arad. The Furniture Factory has been founded in 1890 by L. Lengyel. This was the first furniture provider for the Imperial Court of Austria-Hungarian Empire and for the Royal Court of Romania. The Timber Factory has been founded in 1923 by A. Cornis. Between 1985 – 1990 the IMAR SA was the main furniture provider for the Republic House of Romania. Todays STYLE Imar SA of Arad is one of the biggest furniture factory from Romania. About 80% of his production is exported worldwide. The most important customers are from Swiss, Italy, Russia, CSI, SUA, Slovakia and Hungary. Mainly, theSTYLE IMAR Srl includes tow divisions specialized in classical and modern tapestry production, and tow division specialized in art and rustic furniture production with complex decorative elements and wood sculptures. It has also a mechanical division, which maintains all other divisions.
