The company began operations in April 2002, promoted by Mangal and Pushpa Kothari. Mangal was a freelance cartoonist and had contributed to several Indian newspapers and magazines. Pushpa is a graphic designer and copy

writer. Offbeat has a full fledged in-house designing and copywriting team, continuously developing new concepts and designs. We at Offbeat believe in clean and decent humor. We offer a range of designs going from funny and catchy to inspiring and ethnic that can be worn by all age groups. The Offbeat T-shirt production team is based in Tirupur - a city known worldwide for its apparel manufacturing infrastructure. Our team takes care of the production right from the yarn stage. This enables us to deliver the quality we promise. The Offbeat handbags production is based in Pondicherry. In 2012 Offbeat opened an Exclusive Showroom (OES) at Pondicherry. The results have been encouraging. Since then we have opened more outlets at Hotels, Holiday resorts, Theme Parks and markets with good footfall having space availability of around 100 to 200 square feet. At present we have OES' at Pondicherry, Bangalore. Delhi, Nanded, Aurangabad, Ghaziabad & Kota, Ginger Hotels at Bangalore, Goa, Mysore, Pondicherry and Surat. More showrooms are coming up soon in other cities. Plus, there are special Offbeat Pondy Stores at Jaipur and Goa Airports plus at Delhi Metro Stations. We have developed exclusive T-shirts for Ramoji Film City, Cafe Coffee Day, Club Mahindra, Bank of America, Avaya Telecom, General Optics, Pondicherry Tourism, Tata Indicom and so on.
