The movie is based on a one night engagement of three independent women living alone in a metro city and the repercussions of that rendezvous.

What can I say about this movie! All I can say is that I found it formidable, extra ordinary and awe inspiring. Umpteen movies have been made on the themes of women empowerment, women emancipation, women power etc. These could be categorised into great, good and bad ones too. Many of them have made a deep impact on the minds of the cine goers. However, I feel none of them have made such a profound impact or created so many ripples as this one has. That’s why I called it a formidable movie. It is that powerful.

The main difference between this movie and scores of other is that while the latter sympathised with so called fallen women but harped upon the virtuous women read “virgin, teetotaller, abstainer, patient, silent sufferer, homely” and insisted that only women with the aforementioned “virtues” are the epitome of morality and righteousness and strength and character thereby being qualified for any kind of entitlement; this movie shredded to bits all these stereotypes, not only empathising with the alleged loose women but also challenged what is considered moral by ridiculing the sanctimonious society that created gender based discrimination by admonishing a woman for a supposed ethical transgression and looking other way when the same violation is committed by a man, further emphasising that morals or lack of them cannot override just and fair treatment and the right of freedom of expression of an individual notwithstanding gender, regardless of the walks of life they are from.
