There is a special day for everything these days..From celebrating relationships to professing love ..We set aside a day to celebrate and underline the cause or the emotion. This could be either to emphasize and reinforce our belief or the fact that we feel the constraint of time does not allow us to stop and mull over things..

Handlooms aren't new to me ..It's been a way of life for me since I started appreciating good clothes...It was either khadi or ikat then and then I set my eyes on orissa weaves after my marriage and there has been no looking back.... My list of favourites increased and for now it stands at khadi, Kotpad, telangana weaves and the orissa weaves (kotpad holds a special place).

It's been overwhelming to see the no of people embracing handlooms and supporting our artisans... We still have a long way to go but the beginning has been made...The future definitely looks bright for handlooms...Afterall we own some of the best weaves....
