Hriday Manch 2025-2026 concluded with the play "पत्थर" presented by Little Thespian Kolkata. Originally written by Ismail Choonara, the script has been skillfully translated by Smt. Uma Jhunjhunwala, who also served as our dramaturg and costume designer. The production was directed by Dr. Gaurav Das, with choreography by Nayan Sadhak and Samar Mridha. Projection and set design were handled by Biplab Naskar, while the lighting design was created by Rahul Sardar. Heena Parwez assisted us backstage.

(Un) Belonging is a new piece for anikaya.dance.theater, a U.S.-based dance theatre troupe that I am creating with the supremely talented Kayala Kanta Nayak, and it premieres at an international theatre festival in Assam on 1st February. The piece explores mostly diasporic themes like home, identity and familial ties, everything that both belongs and unbelongs to us.
