On this afternoon the rain turned to hail.

Use your fingers to expand the images and you’ll see the streaks !
There was a misty light in the background, and the sun kept going in and out behind the clouds. On the hills, the snow would become brilliant then dull.

A perfect time to pull over and finish my cup of coffee.
A perfect stop between errands.

The scene is unchanging yet never the same.

Time can be so slippery, it’s in these little moments that I get to sense it. When I feel like I have to hurry and my mind is elsewhere, and something, a thought or a scene slows me down.

I again realize that time is the gift. I stop and say thank you…
