Annah was born in a small town in southern India into a family of textile merchants.

Annahmol is a line of handcrafted jewelry, clothing, home Decor & wellness products with stones , fabrics carefully hand-selected by designer Annah Chakola, each piece tells a unique story. The backwaters were her playground and the horizon was filled with coconut trees that went on for miles. With nothing but a dream in hand, at the age of 16, Annah set off to see the world and to pursue an educ

ation. Starting in America, she drifted from Washington, DC to Texas , traveled to Europe,the middle East and back again to India, stopping and savoring many places in between. Everywhere she lived or visited, Annah explored the fashions and techniques of the local artists and artisans she encountered. Believing herself to be both an urban Gypsy and a 21st century Bohemian as well as an artist, Annah has decided to follow her tribal passion and love of living “la vie Boheme.” In an effort to share that passion she launched “Boho Gypsy,” a remarkable line of accessories that blend cultural influences and simple styles with her own aesthetic to create jewelry and textiles that are both authentic and contemporary. The products she designs are then created by artisans in different countries who share Annah’s love of combining traditional culture with the panache of the present.

We’ve met so many of you - from everywhere - and one question keeps coming up...

We’re now just four weeks away from closing this edition of the Biennale shop.
And as one chapter comes to an end, another begins.

Very soon, we’ll shift our focus to Kada Annahmol at Kashi Townhouse —

Some moments are written long before they happen - you just wait for life to catch up.

My dear friend, artist Denise Duong, is here in Kochi to paint a mural on the front wall of Kada Annahmol at Kashi Townhouse. it feels like a full-circle moment unfolding in real time.

Denise and I have always appreciated a similar way of seeing the world - in colours, in stories, in small poetic details.
A collaboration born out of friendship, intuition, and years of adventures together.

A reminder that this - these crossings, these reunions, these moments of alignment - are what life is truly about.
Here’s to art, to sisterhood, to Kochi, and to the magic of being in the right place....for the time being.✨🤍🎨
