Please help gift a book to a child at Daisy Lodge this Christmas!

Today marks the launch of our 2025 community Christmas appeal. We are hoping to raise as much as possible towards books for the children at Daisy Lodge, all to be delivered in time for the festive season 🎄

If you can, please donate to sponsor a book for a child during their stay 📚🌼

The books are used at Daisy Lodge for:
🎁 gifts that bring a smile to little faces, especially around Christmas
🧸 bedtime stories that bring home comforts to a family’s stay
📚 the centre’s playrooms, bringing some extra giggles and imaginary play
💭 welcome distractions when needed for all the family
🌼 and many other uses that are helpful for the centre

Whether you can donate £1 or £1000, EVERY single donation is greatly appreciated.

I’ve had some “I’m so glad you have these” or “I wish I knew sooner” type conversations about these books over the last couple of weeks so I thought I’d drop them here as a PSA that they exist because I’m not good at sharing what I have 🙈😂 such a nice way to help your child navigate the ‘tween’ stage and the big life changes that are happening/coming.

I finished up a lovely little week-long book fair with Kilkeel Primary School today! 📚 It was lovely to be asked back and so nice to see all the pupils having a nosey at the books, especially some of our lovely new releases pictured!

Lots of fabulous books will be making their way to their new homes very soon, so thank you everyone for your orders and helping your school - I can’t wait to see the final result of how many free books they receive 🤩🙌 😜
