1/9. What is this called ?
Gold foiling.
So my best friend is getting married and when I sent her Annie Designs order form, no better feed back than a friend, she didn’t know what half of the printing options on my order form / wish list is.
I am very grateful for this feedback, I’m in the field so long and I try to offer as much high end details, that you forget, every couple, nearly know what they want but may not know what the techniques are called.
Over the next 9 posts, I will breakdown every single printing technique that would be just stunning on potentially your wedding stationery !
Don’t panic ! Most people think, nope, we don’t have the budget for more… well with some consulting with me, I can get you what you want in line with your ideal budget !
So sit back and relax and get allllll informed of those smaller details that will set your wedding apart from the rest !!! .
GOLD FOILING, this technique is printed black and then after the product is printed it is put through a machine, and gold foil sticks to the black toner.
There are other ways of gold foiling, however this one is the most affordable!
It adds a high end finish to any stationery and does not cost much more than a regular print !!

Traditionally the envelope was…
The transport of which your wedding invitation went in just like a coat was a means to keep the rain off your clothes.
Today, just like a coat, an envelope is part of the ‘outfit’ of your stationery suite. Your envelope does not have to be white, it can have envelope liners, it can be printed or it can be white ink printed.
Envelopes can come in any colour, shape or size ! Have fun and remember it is the first impression of your wedding your guests will get. It is nothing on its own but part of the suite it is fun to start with a splash of colour ❤️
