📍Úna Bhán Tourism Co-operative Society are seeking a Community Rural Tourism Project Officer
We’re excited to announce that Úna Bhán Tourism is now recruiting a Community Rural Tourism Project Officer to join our dynamic team!
This full-time position (37.5 hours/week) is supported by the Department of Social Protection and funded by POBAL.
💶 Rate: €14.15 per hour

Based on the grounds of the historic King House in Boyle, Úna Bhán Tourism supports rural tourism across the region.
We also:
Facilitate local artisan food producers through our weekly Saturday Courtyard Market 🍞
Operate a craft shop showcasing the work of talented local and regional makers 🎨
🌟 About the Role
We are looking for an innovative individual to join our team who will work with the three sectors of Úna Bhán to research, develop and facilitate training workshops in line with the requirements of our tourism providers, artisan food producers and craft makers.
You will also be expected to identify any relevant funding opportunities to compliment Una Bhan, in Tourism, Heritage and Culture and to organise and run events in line with the ethos of Una Bhan, to enhance the sustainability of the project.
This is a fixed-term contract, dependent on continued POBAL support, and includes a three-month probationary period.
✅ Essential Requirements
We seek applicants with experience in tourism and community development. They should be fully computer literate, comfortable with social media and website management. Strong interpersonal skills are a must. Practical research and community initiative implementation experience is crucial too. Independent work and teamwork abilities are expected. Solid communication skills are vital, along with training delivery capabilities. Plus, a clean driving licence and meeting transport criteria are necessary.
Applicants may be required to work weekends and public holidays on a rota basis.
