Oh how I love this time of year 🥰
I've heard them for a week or so, but this is my first proper sighting of this year's first House Sparrow Chicks!!! They usually have at least 2 clutches each year and it warms my heart to see them ♥️

Hanging out with Dave - he's in the middle of shedding so he's been a bit off form and very tired. Perked up today and had some nice roaches and locusts and was looking to come out of his vivarium for a bit. Only happy to oblige 🥰
You can see his tail is a different colour as that shed hasn't peeled off just yet. They do their shedding in stages, not like a snake that will shed their whole skin at once.

Peekaboo - Mo Cat sees you!!
Mo is my daughter's cat that she rescued from the side of the road in a heap of rubbish when he was just 6 weeks old. He's now living his best life and out exploring the gardens with a safe home to return to. The little boy I mind during the week calls him Mo Cat so the name has stuck 😅. Here he is, on top of the hammock frame in the garden looking down on me as cats tend to do 🤣

Might have residents this year!! This birdhouse has been up for a few years and we've had some interest each year but no commitments. This little one has been in and out all day, along with another and lots of tapping noises going on - must be renovating. Anyway, it's totally made my day and I'm so excited I might get to see baby Blue T**s fledging this year 🤞
