A HUGE THANK YOU FROM LAKELAND VINTAGE CLUB CLG.

From the Committee & Members of Lakeland Vintage Club CLG, we would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Vintage & Classic Car Run on Sunday last and helped make it a day to remember.

What a fantastic turnout of fabulous cars, great people and wonderful memories! It was brilliant to see old friends, meet new friends and share our love of all things vintage and classic.

A very special thank you to The Retail Therapy Museum and Niamh, Graeme, Marie, the family and all the staff for their fantastic welcome and hospitality. And a special mention to the great young lad who did such a brilliant job parking the cars — well done! 👏

A huge thank you also to the management and staff of The Rustic Inn for the fabulous food and excellent service.

Thank you to Colm & Therese Mulligan for the parking, and to everyone who helped out behind the scenes to make the day run so smoothly.

And finally, a very special thank you to YOU for joining us. Without the support of everyone who turns up, brings their cars, chats, laughs and enjoys the day, none of this would be possible.

These events are so important — not just for keeping our vintage and classic vehicle hobby alive, but for creating friendships, bringing people together and passing our passion on to the next generation.

Invite you to our annual veteran, vintage & classic car run TOMORROW Sunday August 16th. Registration & Refreshments from 11am at the RETAIL THERAPY MUSEUM, Abbeyshrule, Co. Longford N39F6A2. Just around the corner from our usual departure point. To add some fun to our day We encourage you to dress in period costume to the era of your vehicle (optional). All are welcome and we hope to give you a day to remember.

It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Johnny Lennon this week.
Johnny was a great ambassador for the vintage community over many years and a true gentleman in every sense of the word. His passion, knowledge and friendly nature made him a familiar and respected face at vintage events far and wide.
Johnny’s presence, kindness and enthusiasm will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
We here at Lakeland Vintage Club send out sincere condolences to Johnny’s wife Sophie, family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

May he rest in peace.
