In celebration of National Education Day 2026, I had the opportunity to share a meaningful session with the coastal community at Bimo Beach, Banyuwangi 🌊

We talked about something simple yet powerful: how tourism and the environment can grow together, not against each other. Coastal areas are not just destinations—they are living ecosystems that sustain livelihoods, culture, and future generations. Through small, practical steps—like waste management, preserving mangroves, and responsible tourism practices—we can protect what truly matters.

As a lecturer, moments like this remind me that education doesn’t only belong in classrooms. It lives in conversations, in shared experiences, and in the willingness to learn from each other.

Grateful for the warmth, the stories, and the collective spirit to build a more sustainable coastal future.
