Truthfulness is not simply a state of mind but also what one does. Both the Prophet ﷺ and Abu Bakr had titles, based on their actions. Abu Bakr was “al-Siddiq” because he did actions of trustworthiness and came to be known by them. The Prophet ﷺ was called “al-Amin” because he was reliable, trustworthy and saw to others.

And with God is all success.

Fear God in your women

One ethic of the requirements for the continuity of marriage is dealing with wives in a good manner and tolerating their harm. Extend mercy towards them. God Almighty said: “Live with them in kindness” (4:19) and regarding the importance of women’s rights, He said:
(“…and they have taken from you a firm covenant?” (4:21)''

Surat al-Layl (The Night)

By the night when it conceals and the day when it reveals and the creation of male and female, there is a vast difference in your striving.

As for him who gives out and who is mindful of God and confirms the Good, We will pave his way to Ease. But as for him who is stingy and self-satisfied, and denies the Good, We will pave his way to Difficulty. His wealth will not help him when he plummets to the depths.

Assuredly guidance is up to Us and this world and the next belong to Us. I have warned you of a Fire which rages, in which only the most wretched will roast — those who denied and turned away.

The most pious one will be far removed from it: those who give their wealth to purify themselves — not to repay someone else for a favour done — desiring only the Face of their Lord Most High. They will certainly be satisfied.
