Τα πρότυπα της εποχής αυτής δεν ήταν άλλα από τα μέλη των
βασιλικών οικογενειών. Η βασίλισσα Βικτώρια αποτέλεσε το πιο
ισχυρό πρότυπο της εποχής καθώς επί της βασιλείας της η
χώρα έφτασε στο απόγειο της ακμής της όχι μόνο λόγω της
ηγεσίας της, αλλά και λόγω των κοινωνικών εξελίξεων.~

καθότι το στιλιστικό ύφος της φέρει πένθιμη ''χροιά'' λόγω των χρωματικών συνδυασμών, όσο και των κοινωνικών συνθηκών που επικρατούσαν και επέβαλαν το πένθος.~
