We engaged various stakeholders including policy makers and Non Governmental Organisations on the 14th December 2022 to practically take them through the process of making activated carbon (charcoal) during our workshop organised by the Institute for Environment and Sanitation Studies at the University of Ghana. As part of our awareness creation on sustainable environment, we engaged the students of Preset Pace Setters School at Madina on Monday 21st November 2022. We shared our research findings that is, transforming coconut shells into activated carbon and the use of waste car tyres to make chairs.
The students also shared their views on their roles as youths in sustaining the environment and how our research findings can be improved especially the chairs.
