This year at BanterFest SouthWest our raffle raised money for two local causes: Firstly the Teign Valley Community Hall to install a working accessible shower and secondly to the Teign Valley Larder which provides food to people in need in Christow and the surrounding villages. The raffle itself raised just over £1300 and we topped that up to £2000 to split between the two causes. Our deepest thanks to everyone who bought tickets and to those who donated amazing prizes, most especially Hobgoblin Music .
We were also proud to involve many local businesses to supply the festival - Huxbear Vineyard , Black Rabbit ciders , Sweet Sensations Patisserie and others and the Christow Community Shop on site did a brilliant trade which, being volunteer run, feeds directly back to the Parish. We can't wait to return next year 😊😊😊
